Street Food Social in Taiwan - The best Roti Bread from India Recipe The perfect roti recipe was eluding me until I met Kuala Lumpur's Chef Matt of Roti Chanai fame. He's been making these Malaysian pastries since age nine, so it's no mystery why he's such an expert. The only common problem with characters like him is all their cooking is done by sight and feel and the quantities all estimated, so I scribbled down the recipe best as I could, on the fly and have had to make a few adjustments.
